Resilience, Faith, and Continuing to Build Through Adversity
Resilience isn’t something you talk about when things are going well.
You learn it when things fall apart.
Over the past year, I’ve taken some real hits.
Not just behind the scenes, but publicly.
Opportunities slowed down.
Some people stepped away.
And there were moments where it would’ve been easier to step back.
But I didn’t.
I kept showing up.
I kept doing the work.
I kept serving my community.
I kept believing in what I’m capable of—even when it got quiet.
Because here’s what I’ve come to understand:
Not every opportunity is meant for you.
Not every door is supposed to stay open.
And not every loss is actually a loss.
Some things clear out so you can build what’s really yours.
Yes, it was a heavy season.
Yes, it tested me.
Yes, it forced me to grow in ways I didn’t expect.
But it didn’t break me.
If anything, it refined me.
My faith kept me grounded.
My discipline kept me moving.
And my belief in myself never left.
What’s meant for me will be mine.
And I’m walking into that with a clear mind, a strong spirit, and a commitment to keep building—no matter what.
I’m not done.
I’m not defeated.
And I’m not quitting.
If you’re in a tough season right now, keep going!
